Love how the Habs never make the list but still sit near the top with games in hand since pretty much the beginning of the season.

Amazing how the Islanders added Leddy, Boychuck, Grabovski, Kulemin & Halak and they're such a different team this year…they drafted 5th overall last year for cryin out loud?? |

If you look at our goaltenders numbers the last couple years its not that much of a shock. If we got even average goaltending against the pens in the playoffs we would have beat them. Fleury's horrible goaltending was the story but nabakov was far worse in that series. Tampa is learning this hard lesson right now. |

And two years ago we drafted 3rd overall. The right moves make all the difference. |

Because if your goaltender goes down for an extended period you’re gonna sink like the titanic. Also because your advanced stats are bottom third in the league.
And because we hate you.

So IF a team loses it's best player they will suck ?
And let's not forget about those advanced stats !!!
Here's an advanced stat for you.
47 games and 65 points
Sitting 4th overall in the league.

Most of it is goaltending, but a large part of it is health as well. Not only was our goaltending laughable last year, we also had a defense that regularly featured carkner, martinek and ness due to injuries.
Now also add in a full year of Nelson, Lee and Strome, who are all contributing, it’s a pretty huge difference.

Who cares about your opinion? Islanders can't even beat those habs without Price.
They should be on this list. Period. |

Apparently you care. I don't care about this list or anyone else's opinion of my team. We're top of our division and headed to the playoffs. |
